What has happened has happened it is in the past
And why hold a grudge for a friendship that did not last
The hatred you harbour not good for you anyway
Let bygones be bygones as some are known to say
You will not find happiness where hatred does live
And blessed are they with the power to forgive
Health problems for yourself why help to create
You can give yourself cancer by bottling up hate
Some people carry their grudges with them to the grave
Those they harboured grudges for they never forgave
They died with their grudge as a bad memory
A waste of human energy that does seem to me
If you hold a grudge the one who suffers is you
I'm only saying here what is obviously true.
