The Optimist In You

In life for you there never has been a win
But you hang in there you refuse to give in
In you the optimist hope is not dead
And you sense that for you the good times are ahead
One never hear you say that life is unfair
Or of a change in fortune you never despair
That fortune favours the brave often proves to be true
And a change in life's fortunes you are overdue
Life's not been good to you but you don't complain
And your positive attitude you do retain
Words such as the World is against me you never do say
And you feel that the good times for you are not far away

But to failure the optimist in you refuses to give in.
