With a forecast high of twenty one degrees
A beautiful evening of sunshine and breeze
On the trees and bushes birds whistle and sing
With only five days left of the calendar Spring
The pee wees are calling in the park by the bay
One must thank Mother Nature for such a beautiful day
On the beach the young silver gulls to their parents for morsels to eat cry
And the pied oystercatchers they pipe as they fly
Above the calm waves that lap on to the shore
The wonders of Nature are forever more
The unmistakeable caws of the dark pale eyed crow
Yet so little about Nature I can claim to know
Fascinated by the beauty in her I do see
A beauty that is everywhere around me.
