In more than sixty years of living for wisdom and knowledge don't have much for to show
But the more we learn about life the less we know we do know
About the World we live in though one has to say
That from life we do learn something new every day
Those who think they know it all in this World are not rare
Yet of knowledge and wisdom they never seem to have much with others for to share
Suppose with some people ignorance can be bliss
The point of listening to learn they do seem to miss
Though all of the wisdom and knowledge we acquire we do not retain
From the wise and the knowledgeable insights we do gain
The greatest human achievements compared to Nature's achievements seem small
In eight decades of living we learn little at all
For to talk out of turn not the way of the wise
They learn with their ears and they learn with their eyes.
