On Her We Depend

Have not even had a lower division win in lotto for some while
The Lady of luck on me she does not smile
In gambling one might say my luck is not in
And without her on your side not much hope of a win
In life we do need Lady Luck as a friend
Even for our survival on her we depend
The luck of the draw as some are known for to say
We do need her often if not every day
A woman can live without a husband and a man can live without a wife
But every one does need Lady Luck in life
Of good luck and no luck stories we do often hear of and read
And good luck on our side for to live we do need
We do need Lady Luck in our lives as a friend
On our very survival on her we depend.
