As we do know everyone does have their day
And the World's best as the World's best does not stay
So many big championships the great one had won
But last year's big winner is no longer number one
The greats as we see them we may celebrate
But like all mortals humans on them do have a use by date
The champion as champion will not always remain
And one has to lose for another to gain
Ascendancy to the summit of renown
It is even hard to be the best in your town
The champion the one who knows the glory of fame
And the champion the one who becomes the great name
And there is a huge difference between good and great
And only the winners we do celebrate.
