What Right Have You To Judge The Man 'To One With A Speech Impediment'

Some of my so called friends think I'm an idiot I've been told that's what they say
But have they a special right to judge me and if so then what are they?
Did they not come from human woman and are they that different to I
Or are they a special breed of people, a special type not meant to die?.

Some of my so called friends try to imitate my laughter but my laughter is my own
They stung and hurt my feelings deeply as mine is not a heart of stone,
My so called friends were only strangers and far apart from them I've grown
My so called friends I never knew them and now once more I walk alone.

My so called friends I do not like them though them I refuse to hate
They laugh at my impediments and my speech they imitate,
My so called friends are only so called to them I cannot relate
As he who laugh at but not with me never can be called a mate.

My so called friends are only strangers only strangers when we meet
Only say good day and pass on when I meet them on the street
They have hurt my feelings badly and though them I can forgive
I feel better off without them and without them I can live.
