For some 'tis harder to praise than 'tis to criticize
That ignorance is bliss they don't seem to realize
In their arrogance on the feelings of others they like to intrude
To them it comes natural for to be rude.
The good are wise they think before they do speak
The weaknesses in others they never do seek
To be cruel with words they are not that way inclined
So blessed are they who are loving and kind.
The cruel hearted man was abused as a boy
And being cruel to others he has grown to enjoy
'Tis sad to think compassion he cannot show
How can he put into practice what he does not know.
They cannot be kind so they have to be cruel
And the anger in them for their cruel words their fuel
Though their put down remarks are cause for offense
They find their enjoyment at others expense.
