Fair Dues To Him

Fair dues to him he's a survivor men like him are rare
Lady luck is against him and he hangs in there
In a motor car accident he badly injured his back
The man is a fighter courage he does not lack
In his old job as a roof tiler he will not work again
He walks with great effort he lives with the pain
Of his terrible injury yet he never complain
Though till death the ache in his back with him will remain
Of his terrible luck such is life he does say
Complaining will not help me in any way
At least i do not have children or i do not have a wife
I only have to worry about my own life
Only in his mid twenties though luck not on his side
And great courage of him it cannot be denied.
