One Asked Me What I Thought Of Matt

One asked me what I thought of Matt I gave little away
For from past experiences that I've had with words one ought not play
Empty vessels make most of noise a saying from long gone day
And Matt makes lots and lots of noise he likes to have his say.

It's true that Matt has a good job but that doesn't mean he's wise
For wise man seldom talk too much he like to use his eyes
The one who doesn't speak too much has much a keener ear
The more you talk the less you know the less you tend to hear.

So many think that Matt is great I tend to disagree
He takes care of his own interest that's how 'twould seem to me
Because he talks and bluffs his way the others he impress
And it's sad to think that such big mouth can meet with such success.

One asked me what I thought of Matt my feelings are my own
The man has never done me harm but wiser men I've known
So many think that he is great each to their point of view
But quiet water flow more deep and that ring ever true.
