Bull Holloway gone from Buninyong a man we loved so well
And he is missed yes sadly missed from Buninyong Crown Hotel
The Crown his favourite watering hole he'd drunk there for many a year
And in the famous Bunny pub the Bull downed many a beer.
Bull Holloway gone from Buninyong his end came suddenly
His end a tragic accident whilst cutting down big tree
The angel of death had called on Buninyong and shock news went around
And tears were shed in Buninyong when Bull was put to ground.
Bull Holloway gone from Buninyong where he had lived for many a day
His soul now in a better world, his bones in brown earth lay
And I have happy memories of one I used to know
Of man I used to drink with a few short years ago.
Bull Holloway gone from Buninyong, the man with heart of gold,
The angel of death took him before he had grown old
And they still miss from Buninyong the Bull's familiar face
For there won't be one more like him and none to take his place.
