At The End All The Same

So called important people no different to you and to i
They too are mere mortals they too grow old and die
Before we did walk we had to learn how to crawl
And to the scythe of the reaper we eventually will fall
And though money speaks every language happens to be true
The karma we receive is the karma we are due
Whether you will be cremated or in the grave left to decay
To Nature we will have to return to one day,
We do age so quickly young we cannot stay
And the clock on our lives it keeps ticking away
The haves and the have nots at the end all the same
For the reaper does not respect money and fame
And if I'm not around for to welcome next Spring
Nature will live on and birds will nest and sing.
