Around the flower beds the white butterflies play
How can one feel grumpy on a day like today
A high of a beautiful 25 degrees
And the birds chirp and whistle on the bushes and trees
The beauty of Nature is a wonderful thing
And the praises of a day like today one cannot help but sing
The grey shrike thrush whistles on the trees nearby
And not a grey cloud in the sunny blue sky,
A few days ago we did have heavy rain
And about that you will not hear many complain
The thirsty earth needed those thundery showers
That gave life to an abundance of beautiful flowers
Mother Nature today at her finest is seen
And the landscape is looking so lush and so green.
