I Do My Own Thing

Since I never harm others I do not much care
What some others think of me though I am quite aware
That people can hurt you by the things that they say
Some are quite judgemental for that is their way.

The gossiping judgementals who judge me and you
With their time 'twould seem have little better to do
Than trying to drag those who mind their own business down
The one they can't harm is the rogue of the town.

Since they know he is down and can't be counted out
The rogue of the town they never talk about
They don't talk about him though him they disown
Since his flaws are public and he is well known.

Though of good living people lies sometimes one hear
At the judgements of the judgemental I do not cringe in fear
To some form of self worth I desperately cling
And I mind my own business and I do my own thing.
