You who does not love Nature I do feel for you to you a tree is just a tree
It's beauty and value to Wildlife 'twould seem you somehow cannot seem to see
You see it as something that should be cut down the parts unsuitable for woodwork to be used in a fire
The ordinary one thinks in ordinary ways in you there's not much to admire.
That tree provides shelter for animals and birds in weather of varying degrees
And it's blossoms in late Spring and early Summer provide nectar and pollen for the honey bees
That you look on that tree as a disposable thing to say the least seems strange to me
You are entitled to your opinion on the matter no doubt but with you I cannot agree.
To Nature's creatures a tree is priceless for shelter on trees they depend
And the person who believes trees are to be felled to Nature one cannot say is a friend
How can you be a friend of Nature if you look on trees in this way
For our disrespect for our Earth Mother the price will be huge for us to pay.
You who does not love Nature I do feel for you since you feel all trees should be cut down
For to build more houses and car parks and streets to add to the size of the town
For Wildlife who needs trees you do not seem to care and sad to think your type not rare
We need far more people who love Mother Earth people environmentally aware.
