If I should die tomorrow do not waste your prayers on me
For if there's one to judge me I won't beg for sympathy
Those who deny me before human kind the son of God did say
I will deny before my father on their final judgement day
And if there is a life hereafter some famous faces I will see
Though I for one will not enjoy being in their company
On Earth I despised what they stood for though them I refuse to hate
Between one and their actions one must differentiate.
If I should die tomorrow on me why waste your tears
I've lived for longer than most close to the three score years
Many have died far younger I've known my better day
If I should die tomorrow in peace just let me lay.
If I should die tomorrow on me why waste your prayers
You just be happy for me that I'm past all living cares
I do not need your pity for your own self you should grieve
And if there is a final judgement I'll deserve what I receive.
