The leaves on the tree branches are stirring in the ever freshening breeze
On a beautiful day in November in temperatures of around twenty degrees
On the flowering callistemons the wattlebirds are calling as they take nectar from the flowers
And the parks and gardens so green looking made lush by the thundery Spring showers,
How nice to walk out in the sunshine on a beautiful day in the Spring
When Mother Nature her best dress is wearing and the nesting birds whistle and sing,
The Town gardens look quite amazing with beautiful roses in bloom
And in the park and by the dirt track bright yellow flowers are on the broom,
There is such great beauty in Nature with Nature there's none to compare
The butcherbird pipes on the wattle days such as this at the best of times rare,
November in the Southern Country in a beautiful time of the year
The gray shrike thrush pipes in the cool of the evening his voice so melodious and clear,
Summer comes with the birth of December from this day just four weeks away
And I for one feel very grateful for such a nice day as today.
