We Create Our Reality

We hear of it on the news on the radio and on the evening news on the t v
So much about terrorists and terrorism and little else we hear of and see
But we can change the World by changing our thinking and it all seems so clear now to me
That by highlighting terrorists and terrorism we create our reality.

George W Bush talks of the axis of evil North Korea, Iraq and Iran
For one in the highest position he's not a well informed man
Some one near and dear ought to tell him that evil he helps to create
By putting the wrong message out there he's spreading hysteria and hate.

It's our negative talk and our negative thinking that create the World we know today
For we create an axis of evil if evil of others we say
If you mistrust that other person then that person will mistrust you
To stir up suspicion and ill feelings more often than not it takes two.

We create our own reality whoever first said that spoke true
Those words apply to everybody to him and to her, me and you
If we only say good of others and for others genuinely care
Then we create a better World by putting our good thoughts out there.

It's true we create our reality the power of thought and words are great
If we talk of love then love blossoms though words too can magnify hate
But I see peace on the horizon when all peace loving people unite
For the power of thought can be powerful and love and peace almost in sight.
