Scammers

Some of the criminally inclined do seem friendly and warm
And when the need arises they can turn on the charm
Without resorting to violence their lives savings from people they steal
In their fraudulent scams that appear to be real
To their victims they never cause physical harm
But at others expense they become millionaires out of their false charm
Though the law catches up with most of them in time
Many of them with their sentences served do return to crime
Jail terms seldom reform the criminal mind
Scammers to deception seem all too inclined
They seem such nice people but appearance can deceive
And they sound so convincing their victims them believe
But trust sad to say sometimes comes at a cost
And their victims left to grieve for their lives savings lost.
