'Tis true few know success at the wordsmith trade
And 'tis true that poets are born not made
And for the pauper there never will be a parade
Though all from the memory eventually does fade
May God save our monarch the royalists do sing
The loyalty of patriotism can be a self belittling thing
To make up humanity it takes every kind
The truth in that saying does not seem hard to find
'Tis a fact of life and facts never lie
That the wealthy like the poor eventually must die
The Reaper does not respect money or fame
In life all not equal but in death all are same
I just want to live for as long as I can
And die in my sleep as a very old man.
