Since She Never Drove Well

God's chosen one stood on guard at Heaven's gate
He said to the believer I must ask you to wait
For I cannot allow you for to enter in here today
Before speaking to the Supreme Being to learn what he has to say.

Though your record shows to God you often did pray
You were judgemental of others in your negative way
And though your belief on the supreme one to something does amount
Your flaws whilst on Earth must be taken into account.

Meanwhile a young blond drinking vodka from a bottle by the Gatekeeper allowed in
And clearly she was one who had lived and died in sin
The believer protested tell me how can this be
You have allowed her in whilst it is your judgement for me.

As a young man for love of God and Country from my Homeland afar
I risked life and limb in a terrible war
And you have allowed into Heaven a drunken woman who has just left a bar
And killed herself and three others whilst driving her car.

But Heaven's Gatekeeper said what you say is not true
This woman on Earth did far better than you
Into hundreds of people she put the fear of hell
And won many converts for God since she never drove well.
