We are only human when all is said and done
And it is quite impossible to like everyone
But tell me of one completely free of taint
And you are telling me you know of a living saint
What I am about to say here is surely nothing new
We all have our vices some of us have quite a few
And I do believe that 'tis a fair thing to say
That the most perfect of us are most imperfect in some way
And though maybe I'm wrong it does seem to me
That the imperfections we see in others in our own selves we see
We all look at life one might say differently
And our egos the barrier to humility
But we are what we are that is all we can be
And our flaws are a part of our humanity.
