Not An Endearing Old Dear

She is not what you'd call an endearing old dear
The fierceness in her stare puts brave men to fear
In her early seventies but not frail in any way
And until she die as a spinster she will stay
With light brown hair dye she does cover her gray
And with a few drinks in she has been known to say
That the reason she never married though her lovers not few
That a real macho man is one she never knew
She is never afraid for to speak her mind
And yet despite her toughness she too can be kind
And even strong young men to her face dare not put her down
She has earned her title as the Queen of the Town
When angry she has a fierce look in her eyes
Quite a tough old dear men have come to realize.
