On a warm day in the Summer on the flowering bushes and trees
The chirpings of the nectar eating birds and the buzzings of the nectar gathering bees
The sun shining in the clear blue sky with a welcome coolness in the afternoon breeze
A forecast low of 27 and a high of 35 degrees.
A bit warm to be out in weather in the full sun away from the shade
Without a hat exposed to u v rays a sun tan for cancer does seem a bad trade
But a nice day to go to the Parkland and sit in the shade of a tree
And sip from a bottle of iced water or enjoy a refreshening iced tea.
The sun is the warm lamp of Nature It's years cannot be measured in time
And those who have failed to respect it have died very young in their prime
Of sunstroke or a slower death of painful skin cancer respect the sun our respect does demand
The warm lamp of Universal Nature she lights up the sea and the land.
A warm day in the prime of the Summer with a burning warmth in the sun
In the Townpark pool the children are laughing enjoying their games of watery fun
The new holland honeyeaters are chirping on the blossoming trees by the street
A nice day to be out of the weather away from the sun's burning heat.
