In this Australia the land of the free
My children I am not allowed to see
The family courts have made an outcast out of me
By denying me access to my family.
To the hilt the family court back up my ex wife
And they take away my privileges in life
For the past twenty two months my children I've not met
And I love my children too lest one forget.
The Australian courts deny me a basic human right
And for my rights I've little choice but fight
And for three long weeks I've lain here on the street
By the family court house without food to eat.
Going without food is one thing I don't like
But family courts have forced me on this hunger strike
And in this so called free society
From biased laws I get no sympathy.
I've been made to look a guinea pig, a joke
And from paying solicitors I am nearly broke
But I can only hope and starve and pray
That I'll be allowed to meet my children again one day.
