There's Not One Person Who Does Not Have A Dream

There's not one person who does not have a dream
Though for the majority their dreams don't come true
And what nicer thing can you say to anyone
Than may all you've ever wished for come to you.

And for the people who've realized their dream
And achieved what seemed not possible to do
May they feel humble despite their success
And feel glad to be of the lucky few.

You won't meet one who embrace poverty
Their dream is of wealth and happiness one day
But as they age they come to realize
That their dream from them was and is far away.

Some say that money is not everything
That with money happiness you cannot buy
But a wealthy person is never short of a friend
And if you are poor life you cannot enjoy.

There's not one person who does not have a dream
But nine out of every ten don't see their dream come true
And when all is said and done 'tis sad to think
That the world is still ruled by the wealthy few.
