I am just a rhymer that and nothing more
I only say here what i have said before
Some wonder out loud why do i waste my time
On persisting of penning of old fashioned rhyme
What they think of me is their business and that suits me fine
For their business surely can never be mine
I've never referred to myself as a poet
Nor do i wish to be seen as one worthy of note
If i ceased to enjoy rhyming i would give it away
But tomorrow for me it will be like today
For i have the intention more rhymes for to write
