The Dandenong Market

People there from every Nation and none there might feel out of place
The Dandenong Market in Victoria frequented by almost every race
The stall holders shout out their prices five dollars a box for tomatoes today
The fruit and vegies are so cheap there for so much so little to pay.

People there from North America and Asia and South American and European
And people from Africa and middle Eastern countries at the Dandenong Market are seen
At the Dandenong Market they gather where's there's all sorts of stuff for to buy
And every stall holder sells something different and bargains are in plentiful supply.

The accents and dialects are so different yet one thing in common they share
That all of them are of the human family and each have their worry and care
And at the old Dandenong Market the financially well to do rare
A place of 100 hundred poor people or more for every millionaire.

The most multicultural part of Australia is Victoria's Dandenong Town
And it's marvellous and colorful market is part of it's cultural renown
The stall holders are shouting loudly five dollars a bag for potatoes today
And good value there for your dollar for so much so little to pay.
