Man and woman take care of yourself though that you do not say
That is Moses unwritten commandment the one that you obey
Though people like you are plentiful there are many more like you
Those who show genuine concern for others as ever are the few.
You work for a bureaucracy and bureaucracies do not have a heart
And you climb the bureaucratic ladder at the bottom you did start
On those you do not see as successful you do not waste much time
To look at life differently to you in your eyes is some sort of a crime.
Your values are so different so different to mine
And your mates than i far wealthier and drink more expensive wine
In your eyes i'm a lowbrow and you would see it as rather odd
If you knew I was one of those who has Nature as his god.
Our values are so different and we view life differently
But it takes all kinds to make human kind or so 'twould seem to me
You work for a bureaucracy and a promotion you are due
And on your climb up the bureaucratic ladder may good luck be with you.
