In Their Own Way

They only can look at life in their own way
And they will vote for the same political party till their last voting day
They never do waver from their point of view
I speak here for many and not of a few,
Speak to them of global warming and they laugh in your face
They see that as scare mongering in any case
By experts on climate change and they laugh when they say
What would these people know of climate change anyway?
They do not change their mind and they do not change their vote
And of how right they are they feel happy to gloat
And their belief in what they believe in has got to be strong
When they feel so sure that they are never wrong.
