Far From Where Old Tarwin

In his early thirties he has turned thirty three
The one who hails from where the Tarwin flows into the sea
He left Tarwin Lower when he was nineteen
And some of the bigger World out there he has seen.

He has been to European Cities London, Paris and Rome
And he has travelled far from his South Gippsland home
But fond memories from him are never far away
Of riding the huge surf waves in old Venus Bay.

Of travel one might say he has done his share
He has seen some of Asia been in Moscow's Red Square
Been to South America, Canada and the U S of A
From old Tarwin waters in miles far away.

In his early thirties just past his life's prime
And to see more of the World he has plenty of time
He now works in Alaska the great Land of snow
Far from where old Tarwin to the ocean flow.
