The Miser

With money he is as tight as a fish's asshole and that is water tight
And he is one of those people who see greed as all right
He and his two children are billionaires yet life he cannot enjoy
He lives as a true miser and as a miser he will die.

Last year on his birthday he turned fifty four
And he owns a block of flats in town but like they say much wants more
Far too mean to pay a dentist for to fix his rotting teeth
He complains about the price of bread and the rising price of meat.

A miser with his money and would you not agree
He is far worse off than the person who lives in poverty
For one is poor due to circumstance and the other is just poor
Though moneywise quite wealthy he feels very insecure.

Ten years ago his wife she left him her dental bill he refused to pay
And though her new husband is not a wealthy man she feels much happier today
Than she ever was with the miser her estranged billionaire
Who is mean with every penny people like him are so rare.

His shabby house it needs re-stumping and an old eighties car he drive
And he feels as poor as the poor bloke who has to struggle to survive
He will be a money hoarder till the day his life will end
Every penny is his prisoner money is his only friend.
