Ginalyn

Nostalgia can be painful for nostalgia it is real
And how homesick for her friends and family in Lipa City young Ginalyn must feel
From her Hometown in the Philippines she now lives far away
And she dreams of home at night time and she pines for it by day.

In the U A E an oil rich desert Nation she works to support her family
Young Ginalyn the homesick woman i feel for such as she
I too have known of homesickness but that was years ago
And 'tis not a pleasant feeling as those who know of it do know.

In the U A E an oil rich coastal desert Nation it must be as hot as hell
And in her letters home young Ginalyn must have strange stories to tell
Of her life in her new surroundings where all to her must seem strange
It is never ever easy to adapt to such great change.

When your only contact with family is by letter or by phone
Life is never ever easy when you're homesick and alone
And for young Ginalyn it can't be easy life it is not always fair
But she is a good and brave woman and she will hang in there.
