On An Argument About Bill Gates

The world's wealthiest human being and a multi billionaire
And he would be a great man if he would only share
A small fraction of his fortunes with the many in grave need
With the planet's starving millions who hunger for a feed.

Seen as a huge achiever and one of the century's greats
But don't ask me to pay homage to the billionaire Bill Gates
When people are dying of hunger and there's want and poverty
If you speak of his greatness speak for yourself not me.

But he delivered the verbal  k o  to me when he said what use are you?
And for to help the starving millions come tell us what you do?
I could have said I am not wealthy but that would not seem an excuse
For to the starving millions I am of little use.

An argument about the worth of Bill Gates that I had failed to win
It all became too much for me and I threw the towel in
When I criticized his hero he went on the attack
And I lost the verbal joust with him and for more I won't go back.

So many poor and hungry for every millionaire
And for many it is a sad world and life to them unfair
And though I had lost my argument about Mr Bill Gates
I won't be paying him homage as one of the century's greats.
