So few of us of sin are unpolluted
And so few of us 'twould seem are free of taint
You will not travel far to find a sinner
But in your travels you won't meet a saint.
And yet we started on our life journey as innocent
And before we learned how to walk we had to crawl
And in big brother's eyes we are not all seen as equals
And too few believe on a fair go for all.
So few of us make allowances for others
We judge people by their religion and their race
And other people their right to be different
Is something we do find hard to embrace.
Despite what we think of ourselves we are quite tribal
And as tribal people we always will remain
Suppose we do feel security in numbers
In a large tribe personal power we do gain.
So few of us are without sin it does seem
And us will always be opposed to they
We do not embrace their right to be different
That's why there are so many wars today.
