I Often Think Of Nuffa

I often think of Nuffa I hope he's fit and well
He used to entertain us at the Bunny Crown Hotel
He recited poems of Banjo Paterson and great stories to us told
Back there in the late eighties he then was getting old.

He must be in his mid seventies if he lives on today
Back there in the late eighties the years had left him gray
But he was always happy and he enjoyed a beer
And in the Buninyong Crown Hotel he revelled in the cheer.

Remembering old Nuffa him how could i forget
A nicer person than him in my travels I've not met
The best loved one in the Village he would help you if he could
One of those who in other people always looked for the good.

The Nuffa's of this World to say the least are rare
His gift of generosity with others he does share
For to help out other people he goes out of his way
And anyone who knows of him any ill of him cannot say.
