I am a lucky fellow luck's always on my side
Since so many I grew up with are in poor health or have died
I feel lucky in my friendships and the people I do know
And I am not complaining others give me a fair go
And I am not complaining for my lack of success
Since I am rather lucky that I know of happiness
And I'd rather be a happy battler than an unhappy millionaire
Worried about business dealings and a prisoner of care
I feel happy to be healthy everyone not as blessed as I
And I did have a good innings if tomorrow I should die,
Never did have a bad accident and always did enjoy good health
Something money can't buy 'tis the greatest form of wealth
A less fortunate one than I would not be that hard to find
Since I'm a very lucky fellow, lady luck to me is kind.
