We all can't be wealthy and famous and our praises often sung
And we all can't be athletic looking and beautiful and young
And no such a thing as Tir Na Nog 'The Land of eternal youth'
And that time takes care of everyone is only a basic truth.
We all cannot be Prime Ministers or Presidents though some aspire to be
The need for power and crave to rule does not appeal to me
For to control other people's lives I have no wish or desire
And such people I don't see as great nor never could admire.
We all can't be renowned athletes competing for Olympic Gold
And many of us will remain unheralded and our stories will remain untold
But if you do not know fame of others of you it cannot be said
That your ego is over-inflated and your fame has gone to your head.
Not all of us can be the children of a Royal King and Queen
With our photo in the World wide press every day to be seen
I would hate to be born of so called Royal blood one of a privileged class
The reaper equalizes them when their time comes to pass.
We all can't be famous people they say it takes all kind
But in the poorest part of town some great people you will find
You cannot be true to others if to your own self you are not true
And credit should be given where credit it is due.
