Mine Is Only One Opinion

Mine is only one opinion with me you may not agree
And whether you like or not like what I say does seem all the same to me
Mere words will not change the World I'm just your ordinary man
One that time has left looking older near the end of my life's span.

I ask myself very often why is there such poverty?
Why are the rich getting richer only the truly enlightened can see
That this trend it cannot continue to karma the corrupt wealthy will pay
The poor may suffer at this moment but the rich too must suffer one day.

The gap between the haves and the have nots keeps widening
in the great social divide
But everything has it's limit and it can only grow so wide
In far too many wars and famines far too many people have died
The depraved wealthy people and the corrupt politicians from karma will have nowhere to hide.

Stalin and Hitler and Pol Pot like Cromwell decayed in the grave
These men were cowardly despotics nothing about them was brave
And Truman is silent forever he was such a horrible man
Nothing but a glorified terrorist you ask the people of Japan.

At present so many Nations have terrible leaders they cling to power by spreading fear
Of terrorism and their war on terror is all from them we seem to hear
Thousands of malnourished people are dying of hunger every day
They dismiss that as circumstance of birth and that to them seems quite okay.

Mine is only one opinion and I am one without much power
And I cannot boast of any successes I've never known a glorious hour
I am poor but there are far worse off since millions are poorer than I
And every day thousands of people of hunger and diseases die.
